About me

My photo
Julia Hecht
Albuquerque, New Mexico
In 2002, life pushed me (hard) onto a path of personal healing. Creating beauty "one bead at a time" has been a touchstone for me ever since. As a physician, I devoted years to helping others to heal. In 2009, I left my medical practice, in order to offer myself the same gift. In 2011 I opened a retail bead shop, Poppyfield Bead Company. You can follow my artistic life here.
